Despite DSEK order, unauthorized coaching centers operating in Ganderbal | KNO

After government orders coaching centers to suspend their operations for a period of 90 days to get authorization to conduct private academic tuition, Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK) approves 102 coaching centers for private tuitions in Kashmir valley.

However according to the authorization list issued by the DSEK not a single coaching center from Ganderbal District has qualified to make space in the list, but some tuition centres in Kangan area of Ganderbal are in no mood to follow government order. Sources revealed that the private coaching centers like Zedny Institute of Excellence, Parwaaz Educational institute are operating in violation of the government order. Sources said that these coaching centers have no proper registration and were not in the authorized lists issued by the directorate recently . As per the order issued by director school education only 102 tuition centers authorized to operate in Kashmir valley.

Sources said that not a single tuition centre of Ganderbal district complete document and failed to reports in director office. When asked, Zedny Institute Of Excellence one of the incharge teacher, Irshad Ahmad said, "I don’t care whosoever you are. Go and do story. I know you people and government is not going to do anything. They don't dare to touch us”. He added that, "I don’t give dame to a government order. I know about orders". Government has strictly banned the tuition during working hours by a government teachers, however sources revealed Irshad Ahmad of Zedny Institute of Excellence Kangan is carrying private tuitions during working hours. Sources said that these Tuition centres are in hand and glove with higher authorities of education department but officers of the department are deliberately ignoring action against them.

Reliable sources told that many govt employees are running private tuition Institution in main town Kangan adding that the most of the employees are from ITI Kangan. Zaid Illah, owner of Zedny Institute of Excellence when asked told that “We have already completed all the formality but so far". He added that they have done all formality but still their registration is issued. He further added that they appeal government to look into this matter as there is not a single tuition registered or authorized in Ganderbal. Meanwhile coaching tuition association chairman said that those tuitions/coaching centres must be sealed adding that government employees are not allowed to teach in Tuition/coaching centre. He said that government should take serious action against such type of tuition centres. When contacted director of school education, he was not available for comments.
